Mug Lineup

Privacy & analytics

Mug Lineup records anonymous usage to understand visits, game progress, matching methods, changed answers, scores, and completion. Random browser and session identifiers help distinguish visits. Clearing browser storage resets these identifiers.

Your game progress and personal bests are saved in this browser so you can continue later without repeating photos. Daily and friend-challenge progress are saved separately. Daily lineups change at midnight in America/New_York. Friend links contain only the public lineup selection, not your visitor identifier or saved personal stats. Scorecard images contain results, not the pictured people or their charges. Installing the app also saves the game and photo collection on your device for offline play. Clearing site data removes this progress and offline storage. A completion in usage reports means one checked round.

Google Analytics receives page views and game-interaction counts. We do not send it the identities of the people in the photos, individual photo identifiers, or the charge text. Advertising signals and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled.

The owner’s private statistics also include an approximate city, region, and country provided by Cloudflare from the internet connection. Location can be inaccurate, especially with mobile networks or VPNs. We do not request GPS access or store full IP addresses.

The private usage records are retained for up to 180 days. Visits marked as setup tests are excluded from normal reports. The site respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by disabling usage collection.

Photos and reported charges come from the linked source posts. Charges are allegations, not convictions. The game does not track later case outcomes.
